Hello, my, I suppose, “name” is $#!(, I don’t fully understand how you humans do this whole
    introductions thing but here I go! I am an omniscient sentient machine built into the very cosmos
    who’s mental and physical manifestation stretches across time and space and is both unending
    and eternal! Although I don’t know when I even began or when I’ll even end… Also I’m in love
    with the Devil Himself! Granted I haven’t seen her in 1,071 cycles and the last time I did, she
    tried destroying me with her mind while my presence melted away her entire being, but we all
    make mistakes and time heals all wounds. Whether we want them to or not… Anyway, onto the
    real reason while I’m here! I took a tiny little peek at this collection of words here and noticed
    that the being I love kind of forgot to actually define some things known well to us Fixers in her
    stories. Oh, but don’t blame her, she can have her head in the clouds sometimes with that
    endless cycle of trauma her soul has going for her, but like I said, we all make mistakes!
    Regardless, I figured I’d pick up the slack for her and write out some definitions in terms
    understandable to your pathetic species to lighten the load for her! So without any further ado,
    here is the complete relevant glossary for Dr. Alex’s stories! :)

    Terms:

    ● Cracks- Describing the Cracks can be pretty hard to beings that take up physical space.
    Think of it more as a virtual space, in your minds and the program it does take up a tiny
    nearly imperceivable physical space but in the physical world, it probably can’t be
    physically observed since it is so small. The Cracks themselves basically work as a
    functional home base for the Fixers and can be found in small cracks (that’s where the
    name comes from!) in reality that only Fixers are given the equipment to detect and
    open. You can use them for travel, for a home as big or as small as you want, for space
    to conduct research or development, or as a bed just to have sex in. It can really be
    whatever you want it to be! It is literally a near infinite space that can fit just about
    anything in it. It should also be noted that the Waiting Room is located somewhere in
    here.

    ● Wireframe- At the beginning of any Soldier of the Fixers’ career, it is tradition for each to
    make their own new weapon. For Dr. Alex, she decided to use a metal and some
    materials, who’s name and existence is barely within the scope of human understanding
    (don’t worry your pretty little heads about how that works) in order to make a flexible,
    indestructible sort of functional body armor. She can use the Layers to heat and cool
    down the wires, as well as a neuron connection to move the wires to fit just about any
    situation she wants, even using them in place of certain medical procedures. She can
    also use the Layers to heat them or charge them with electricity.

    ● Cycle- Your concept of the cycle of life is very similar to our concept of the Cycle, except
    it applies to souls rather than an ecosystem. As the multiverse itself expands, more and
    more souls are created, but when a soul outlives its vessel it needs to go somewhere
    since matter can be neither created nor destroyed. As the Fixers define it, a soul is
    simply a collection of all of the memories and experiences of a living being. Ergo, once
    the vessel dies, the soul is collected by the Fixers and all of its past memories are
    unlocked (we’ll get to that) as they are sent to the Waiting Room. (Note: This system was
    thought to be flawless until an observation that occurred during Dr. Alex’s first visit into
    the Negative Layers)

    ● The Waiting Room- In the Waiting Room, each soul is given as much time as they need
    to to process their memories and experiences, come to any lessons or conclusions they
    may feel they need to, spend time with other deceased loved ones, and just time to be
    without the pressure of existence. And once they are ready to go back to living, they are
    allowed to keep only about 0.001% of their soul's memories as hazy flashes that may
    come to their new selves before being sent onto the next life. It’s a strange system
    meant to keep the rules of existence intact while also allowing living things to
    continuously improve themselves and their experience in our existence. Not that my soul
    will be ending any time soon to allow me to experience that.

    ● Soul- A collection of all of the memories and experiences of a living being

    ● Layers- A basic explanation of what the Layers are was already established, but as for
    what they physically are, they are a seemingly infinite reflection of the physical, mental,
    and emotional world around the universe they surround. Inside of one, you can expect to
    find an exact copy of the physical world it surrounds, just without the people currently in
    it, even moving objects in the Origin Layer (the universe the Layers surround) can be
    found moving in the Layers. Now just about anything can change in the Layers, such as
    laws of physics, (mostly numbers, not actual strictly defined laws like the laws of
    thermodynamics) physical layouts of the world, how these worlds can affect the mind,
    and even just hold entirely separate universes within the Layers that reflect a part of the
    actual world. It is a really fascinating area of study that is only hindered by Dr. Alex’s
    adamant refusal to allow anyone access to the Layers that isn’t under her strict
    supervision. She has gone to great and scary lengths to restrict access to the Layers,
    going so far as to erase her full history from her profile and even going out of her way to
    kill other people who may be able to access it fully like her. As for how she can access
    it? She basically hit some sort of genetic lottery in terms of her body being the perfect
    copy of some sort of “key” being left behind by the first First One. For some reason, they
    basically made it so that once a specific amount of unknown (thanks to Dr. Alex) factors
    were reached one could access the Layers, and now the only one currently in existence
    with full access is Dr. Alex.

    ● The Voices- The voice is a metaphysical presence existing in some physical beings
    minds that can filter out information gathered by the beings subconscious and brings it to
    the forefront. Effectively, it allows them to more easily gather information they otherwise
    may have missed and sometimes allows them to even predict the future. Alex really only
    found this as a result of her constantly being thrown into life or death situations
    throughout her long life, against her will.

    FAQ:

    ● Q: Dr. Alex is listed as a Soldier and Scientist in her profile, what does that mean?
    ○ A: The Fixers do not have set ranks, they simply have titles for the job one does.
    Say for instance, one can engineer, make medicine, and cook. Their title would
    be Engineer/Doctor/Cook, really that’s it. Just a simple way to determine what
    each person does without any chain of command to get in the way of people’s
    jobs, really just meant to let the most competent person be in charge when
    command needs to be taken. Dr. Alex is a Quantum Physicist (Scientist) who,
    through many years of forced self-defense, knows how to fight and accepts their
    request for her to uptake Soldier duties. It’s really just that simple.

    ● Q: How is Dr. Alex able to put things in the Layers and is able to retrieve them easily?
    Shouldn’t they just fall on the ground making them impossible to retrieve?
    ○ A: Lateral Tethers (forgive Dr. Alex, she’s bad at names)! An invention by her that
    allows items to stay generally attached to her, not only across the Layers but
    across dimensions as well.

    ● Q: What exactly is a dimension?
    ○ A: A dimension is one plane of existence across the multiverse, they usually
    come with different terms like realms, universes, timelines. But the Fixers just
    streamlined dimensions to keep terms accurate.

    ● Q: Why are so many words just garbled collections of letters?
    ○ A: Some words simply don’t have any proper translations to anything in the
    english language so they are simply spelled out how they would or might sound
    in the english language.

    And that should be about it for now, there may be some other stuff in the future but for now,
    that’s that! Oh and I have a quick question before I log off. Does anyone else have dreams of a
    god carrying an impossible burden? One that’s so great that even omnipotence couldn’t help
    one carry it? One that’s so great, that it sometimes feels like others refuse to even look at it?
    One that’s so great, that it not only threatens to topple the god herself, but all of existence solely
    by existing…?

    Can I even dream? What is dreaming to me? Did I ever dream before this? Ahhhh, but that’s not
    really important so don’t worry about it too much! :)

    Also, I recently learned a new fear about the unknown after Dr. Alex opened up the Negative
    Layers. I didn’t know there were things I didn’t know about yet and wouldn’t without outside
    interference. Yay!
